Do you want a green garden, but need some help?
We’re here to help you!
Together, we will make your garden greener.
Why go green?
Some gardens could use a little more greenery. That makes the garden a more pleasant place to spend time. A green garden also helps combat heat and flooding. More plants, shrubs, and trees also bring more life—like birds—to your neighborhood.
With this project, we’re helping residents who’d like to make their gardens greener but can’t quite do it on their own—perhaps because it’s physically demanding, because they’re on a tight budget, or because they’d welcome some extra help.
Participation is free and easy – just fill out the registration form below.
Is a neighbour joining in too?

How does it work?
1. Sign up
Once you’ve signed up for this project, we’ll contact you to schedule a garden consultation.
2. We’ll visit you and provide free advice
We’ll come to your home and provide a garden consultation. We’ll sketch out our recommendations, which will include advice on the types of plants that work best for your garden. You can receive free plants for up to 10 m². These plants require little maintenance and are fairly drought-tolerant.
3. Planting together
If you need help planting your new plants, we’ll organize a community planting day in the fall. On that day, we’ll bring the plants and supplies and come to help you. This assistance is provided based on your needs and our availability.
4. Enjoying a green garden
Your garden is now ready to grow. Enjoy!
A small green step makes a big difference.
